Open-Type Work/Assembly Benches












Construction:

• All Steel sections to be of zinc metal coated steel or satin coat. All steel sections to be degreased and phosphatized and coated with epoxy powder, electrostatically applied and cured at 400 Deg. F. in a colour of your choosing.

• Cabinet-Type Work/Assembly Benches: headers and bases of 14 guage zinc metal coated steel with welded in 18 gauge zinc metal coated steel bodies, posts, dividers and bottoms.

• Open-Type Work/Assembly Benches: 14 gauge zinc metal coated steel header with 12 gauge zinc metal coated steel. 4" x 4" box legs with floor mounting base pads and 14 gauge zinc metal coated steel continuous shelf 2" thick or 2" x 4" box stringer.


Workbench Tops:

• Wood Top
1 3/4" thick, kiln dried, maple grained, resin bonded laminated.

• Steel Top / Wood Core
2" thick, 12 gauge zinc metal coated steel wrapper around 1 3/4" thick solid particle board core on top, 4 edges and underside flange.

• Arborite Top
1 1/4" or 1 3/4" thick-arborite in standard colour and pattern, laminated over a particle board core on top, bottom and 4 edges.

• Welding Top
1 3/4" deep, 12 gauge zinc metal coated steel pan filled with 4 1/2 " x 9" x 2" clay fire brick and fitted with loose 14 Gauge zinc metal coated steel welding screen.

• Burning and Cutting Top
1 3/4" deep, 12 ga. zinc metal coated steel pan with 1/4" steel notched dividers welded in place and loose. 1 1/2" x 1/4" steel bars on edge on 2" centre lines.


Accessories:

• Drawers
18 gauge zinc metal coated steel bodies, backs and faces mounted on chrome plated sides with nylon rollers (ball bearings) and fitted with chrome plated drawer pull and camlock.

• Doors
18 gauge zinc metal coated steel double formed and reinforced with stiffening channel hung on hinge or sliding and fitted with chrome plated cam lock.

• Shelves
18 gauge zinc metal coated steel double formed and fitted on snap pilasters, adjusting on 2" increments vertically.

• Risers
16 gauge zinc metal coated steel, welded or screwed to top. May be fitted with electrical or pneumatic outlets.

• Back Stops
14 gauge zinc metal coated steel, welded or screwed to top.

• Woodworking or Machinist Vices
Available under top (woodworking use), or on bench top (machinst use), to suit end use needs.
